Antonio Carlos Junior Joins PFL 2021 Light Heavyweight Field
Ahead of the upcoming PFL 2021 season the professional fight league acquired several notable MMA fighters. Among the UFC fighters signing with PFL are former UFC champions Anthony Pettis and Fabricio Werdum. Now, PFL signed former TUF Brazil winner Antonio Carlos Junior. The Brazilian compiled a 7W-5L-1NC during his UFC stint and will be looking for a fresh start in his new MMA home. In addition, Carlos Jr will fight in the Light heavyweight PFL Field in hopes to win the grand $1 million prize.
Moreover, PFL secured the services of another Lightweight great. Former UFC Lightweight contender and TUF winner Kenny Florian will make his own PFL debut, behind the microphone. As Every PFL season winner is guaranteed one million dollars, that’s a reasonable reward for putting oneself in the inherent risks a mixed martial arts cage fight entails.
